Unbroken, an aluminum sculpture standing six feet tall, is made out of a single sheet of aluminum. In the model stage, this was a single sheet of paper. While it was bent and cut, nothing was taken away and its wholeness was preserved. The model came to serve as a personification of an individual while at the same time serving as a reminder of human ingenuity and adaptability. While external forces bend and shape us, we are not broken. While we are visibly altered, we are wholly preserved, unbroken.
